Do I need a passport?

Yes. A valid passport is required for travel to Italy. If you don’t already have one, we recommend applying well in advance of the wedding. If you already have a passport, please confirm that it won’t expire before or during your travels.

Which airport should I fly into?

We recommend flying into Milan, Italy. Milan is the easiest gateway to Lake Maggiore and has convenient connections for continuing your journey to the wedding weekend.

When should I book my accommodations?

We recommend booking your accommodations at your earliest convenience — the sooner the better! Since we’ll be celebrating in a popular destination, securing your stay early will give you the best selection of options. For more details and recommendations, please visit the Travel section of our website.

What will the weather be like?

Expect warm summer days, beautiful sunsets and plenty of sunshine in Luino, Italy! July temperatures are typically in the mid-70s to mid-80s°F, making it the perfect time to enjoy everything Lake Maggiore has to offer. Pack your favorite summer outfits, comfortable shoes, sunglasses and a light layer for the evening breeze. Most importantly… don’t forget your bathing suits! There’s no better place to cool off than the lake.

Are the venues accessible?

Yes, all three wedding weekend events will be hosted at the same venue, making it easy and convenient for our guests. The venue is accessible, with parking available and handicap-friendly access throughout. Please note that one section includes small stones, which may be a little more challenging to navigate. We are happy to help with any accessibility needs.

Can I bring a guest?

We’d love to celebrate with everyone who is invited! If your invitation includes a guest, then yes, you are welcome to bring them. If your invitation does not include a guest, we kindly ask that you attend solo.

Do I need an outlet adapter?

Yes, guests traveling from the United States will need an outlet adapter for Italy. Italy uses Type C and Type F plugs with a 230V electrical system, so we recommend bringing a universal travel adapter for charging phones, cameras, and other devices. We also suggest checking your device’s voltage requirements before traveling to make sure everything is compatible.
